The short story is an adaptation of the story presented in the article by José Luis Cortina, Jana Višňovská and Claudia Zúñiga entitled “Unit fractions in the context of proportionality: supporting students‘ reasoning about the inverse order relationship”, published in the Mathematics Education Research Journal .
